I am a graduate student at the University of Colorado in Denver pursuing my Master’s degree in Computer Science.
For my thesis, I’m researching NLP algorithms that use neural nets to learn vector representations of words. I’m particularly interested in how to improve performance of these models by introducing more local parallelism. I’m also curious about extending these models to more abstract concepts. An example of this that is getting a lot of attention is the thought vector.
I built this site to share some of the things I’ve been learning along the way. My first degree was in communications, and I’ve always been a story teller. I like to explain things to others so I can understand them better myself.
